Giving Back: Biking in Rural Cambodia

The Bike Barn has partnered with one of our former employees working with Soksa Bike Tours in rural Battambang, Cambodia to bring much needed equipment to a nascent cycling community. Cut off from most of the world, Soksa Bike Tours was for long unable to get its hands on the tools and expertise needed to spread the cycling culture in a place where bikes are scarce. Working closely with our former Service Manager Aaron Salit, the Barn donated a portion of our depreciated tools and equipment to the organization. In the box was bike tools, solvents and lubricants, bicycle training manuals, and much more. These tools have gone a long way in up keeping Soksa’s mountain bike fleet, and has helped revamp tourism in the region. Check out the gallery below!
