During the school year, minimum lease is 1 academic quarter (billed as 3 months).
The lessee is responsible for bringing in their bike a minimum of once a quarter to receive a free check-over.
The lessee will be contacted when they are due for quarterly maintenance.
This will ensure that bikes are operating properly to keep you safe.
Lessee can choose to waive the quarterly maintenance requirement for $50 per quarter to compensate for the cost of labor needed to repair at the end of the leasing period.
The lessee will bring in bike as soon as possible if damaged or improperly functioning;
Bringing in bike for repair due to damage or improper function would not count as their mandatory quarterly check, but would be a separate service provided by their service plan.
If parts need to be replaced, they will be assessed to determine if the cause for replacement is from normal wear and tear or if misuse and abuse.
The lessee can’t customize their bike with any permanent or semipermanent decorations, items, or installments that are not Bike Barn approved (i.e. paint, stickers), if these actions are done, they will pay for cost of removal or replacement.
If the bike is stolen or missing, the lessee is responsible for informing the Bike Barn of the theft and paying the replacement cost of the bike.
