Launching this spring during May is Bike Month, the ASUCD Bike Barn will be piloting an e-bike demo ride program! To build awareness of the deep discounts available through the UCOP e-bike purchase program, which brings some bikes down to only $800, we will be organizing group rides around campus to get riders excited about these cool new bikes.

We are so grateful for your support, we’ve had more bikes in for repair than ever before! We are elbows deep in grease, and trying to catch up on our schedule so we can get you all back on the road. Happy summer vacation Aggies! Congratulations on making it through another school year. Whether you’re sticking around in Davis this summer or beating the heat somewhere else, this article will tell you everything you need to know about Bike Barn operations during the summer and give you some helpful tips about getting ready for the Fall.
The Bike Barn will be open over the summer providing our regular services including bike repair, bike building, rentals, and sales. We will be open for our regular hours Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm starting on 6/26.
With the increasing number of scooters and e-bikes on the UC Davis campus, the Bike Barn has faced some challenges in serving this new customer base. While we work to expand our services to these new forms of transportation, the Bike Barn will not be servicing scooters and e-bikes with forged (solid metal, non-spoked) wheels less than 26 inches in diameter.
